Sheridan House Family Ministries
Founded in 1968, the mission of Sheridan House Family Ministries is to honor Christ by serving the needs of children and families. On their 40 acre campus on Flamingo Road Sheridan House provides a multifaceted ministry dedicated to support children and families with faith-based services that include a residential program for troubled youth, a single mom’s ministry including on campus temporary housing, a counseling center and educational programs designed to strengthen families. Parenting on Purpose is a ministry of Sheridan House that seeks to help parents make sense of life with children through proven and practical parenting solutions.
Seafarers of Fort Lauderdale
Seafarer’s House provides a ministry of welcome and spiritual encouragement in Port Everglades for mariners from around the world. Founded in 1989, it hosts nearly 150,000 crew visits each year and provides visiting mariners with practical care and spiritual support.
The 4,200 square-foot facility offers a chapel, chaplains, bible studies, faith based literature, free wi-fi to connect with loved ones at home, wire transfer services, a convenience store, cafe and a place to relax. An adopt- a- ship program provides CBTS with an opportunity to minister to the crew of The Emerald Express on a regular basis.
Hope South Florida
Since 1995, Hope South Florida has been helping people access a path to holistic life change. As a faith-forward non-profit, Hope’s vision is to end homelessness through communities that empower at risk families to become resilient and independent.
Services include: support services such as meals, showers and mail services, housing, Family Advocate case management, and classes and resources to empower families.

The Caring Place
The Caring Place located in Hollywood, Florida has been serving people experiencing homelessness in Broward County since 1922. Their mission is to transform the lives of men, women and children with meals, safe shelter, life changing residential programs, employment and housing. They have recently completed the first year of a highly successful “Regenerate” program for men that immersed residents in a year-long Bible-based re-set for mind, body and soul. At the end of 2024 they launched the first “Regenerate” program for women. The passion of the staff at the Caring Place is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ’s great commission by serving others.

Connecting with the local communities in the Northern Abacos to provide a long-term, holistic response to Hurricane Dorian.
