The sermon title was "Thanksgiving through the Back Door" and the scriptures were John 1:43-46 and I Thessalonians 5:16-18. We all think of blessings as good things happening, but could it be that some blessings only come through hurt or heartache. Events that seem tragic just might be some of God's richest blessings. It is easy to say all these things, but God has a way of working in all circumstances.
