The sermon title was "A Thankful Saint" and the scripture text was 1 Thessalonians 5:13-18. Being thankful is becoming lost in our society. Our passage states, "Give thanks in all circumstances". God wants us all to be thankful - to let those who have spurred us on to love and good deeds to know. I think God also wants us to be thankful for all the blessings of life - even those that don't seem like blessings at first or at all and finally, we should be thankful for God.
